Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Beau had been seated upon the mountainside for quite some time. The previous night she had scaled its side with relative ease to a remarkable height. Her long slender legs had carried her well, her large paws finding foothold easily; and the lungs within her slim chest used to thin air. She had climbed tirelessly and gracefully, hopping over loose rocks and loping along thin pass ways until she had reached a height she was happy with.
Truth be told the skinny red pelted femme had stopped to look up at the stars, and had simply found herself by coincidence on a suitable plateau for rest. She had stared at the bright moon above her and its sparkling companions for hours before drifting into a peaceful sleep.
She felt happy that she had left her brother behind, that her past was far behind her and she could at last relax. Her sleep had been deep, peaceful and dreamless, that rejuvinating blackness after exhaustion.

She had begun to stir when she heard the sound of an approaching Lupine. Her large red auds flickered upright and swivelled to catch the sound of claws scratching upon rock and pinpoint their direction. Her large brown orbs snapped open, and aching back her fine muzzled head on a delicate neck she yawned widely. Sharp teeth glinting in the daylight as her silent yawn stretched her jaws fully open for a moment.

Not waiting for the approaching lupine to literally fall over her she jumped to her paws and stretched out her neck to peer over the top of the rocks she had been concealed behind. her eyes widened as the lupine approached, apparantly having not yet noticed her... flaring her nostrils she smelled it was a male coming her way.

For a second she looked about franticalky for a way to announce her presence, cursing her lack of voice. Finally her gaze fell on a loose rock to her left. Hurriedly she wrapped her jaws around it and dropped it over the edge of the rock she had slept behind, starting herself when it crashed loudly onto the ground before her. And so she waited, wayching the nearby wolf and waiting for his gaze to find her.

(o.o.c - Beau is mute and an etheopian wolf, just so you know :) )
