During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

As my gentle pads skid against the cold mud ground, I wonder to myself why I decided to come here. While Munashii Gecko certainly held a eerie beauty to it, it occurred to me half way up, why the hell am I doing this. My small size a clear disadvantage in completing the goal I had set for myself. If a wolf much larger then me couldn't defeat an Alpha male then what chance did the runt sized me have. If I wasn't killed by the alpha then certainly a large predator would see the wounded me and take me away thinking I was a coyote, which as much as I looked like one I was not! But being stubborn at times led me to my position now, on the brinks of death and ready for a fight. What other sensible creature my height and stature would try to take on and adult male wolf and try to win, not one I have ever heard of. But alas, upon all my better judgement, here I was. Trotting next to the blood stained borders of Munashii Gecko, almost asking to slip and make a mistake. And if the pressure wasn't getting to me the screeching Ravens did. It seemed even the bloody night rats couldn't turn up the opportunity to taunt me. Yet another thing running against me in this wage of war. So I wonder to myself, will things ever work my way?

The silver moon shine pierces down upon my fluffy coat. Easily they break through my silver and black top coat to expose a rusty hued under coat. All to similar to a coyote. To add to the humiliation a large draft of wind easily picks up my downy fur exposing the red hue further for cackling eyes . My lean limbs and body curve with the path, trying to stay close to the center away from the border at the moment. Inky audits, which take up a good portion of my crown, swivel like radars listening in for a wolf to approach. If you didn't already assume me being a coyote then you sure as hell would now, damned a mexican wolf runt that looked greatly of the rat dog . But hey I guess Iv come to get used to it some, the taunting and laughter. But that doesn't make my journey any less easy in any way possible. Only taking my mind from more important things, like watching where i'm going.

That's when it all hit me. I freeze in utmost horror, the tips of my paws at the edge of the border line. One more careless step and my coyote body would be dragged off for trespassing by some frightening pack wolf . Thats certainly one way to stop the taunting, but not how I had planned it. A massive sigh is realesed from my chest. Its not everyday you almost step over a line to your utmost doom. Gently I squeeze my paws, feeling the border's dirt squish within my pads. Small grains of sand scratch easily upon my soft pads. Golden brown hued orbs shoot behind me, my body turning quickly away. Inky audits swivel back catching the sounds of some patrolling wolves. Jagged claws scratch the ground uneasily as a inky tipped tail lashes back and forth with stress. To think that could have been me, caught within their jaws. But even with that thought glued to my mind I gently begin to pad away, my journey continued. I can't stand there contemplating the events all day I have to keep moving. Hopefully this time i'll be less likely to die up here.

Muscles rip with every ascending step. Gold orbs glued to the trail, not wanting a replay of earlier. I allow my audits to swivel curiously, who knows what sounds could be coming from here. The ground below is icy cold, making for a less then enjoyable journey for my pads. Every now and then I can't help but look to the skies and wonder what lives within those stars. What makes them their home. My only chances of ever flying to them would be if I died, a possible outcome right now. A small amused chuckle escapes me at my humor. I amuse myself sometimes for I have no friends. But not enough to distract me again, oh no not this time. I was ready and paying attention for the next area of intercepting border line. Golden orbs glare at the placement of such, knowing that many a fool had fallen fate to that trick. Swiftly my small frame turns away from the dastardly placed border . But I can't help but congratulate on a nice deceptive idea . My paws touch the icy ground as I continue on with my set goal. Time seemingly slowing in this one event. Remembering the great task I would have to do as to claim a title great as alpha. But as quickly as I smiled it disappeared with more horror. The stench of blood slammed into my nostrils like a hammer. My slammed to a halt, eyes glued to the scene . I scrambled to process the sight, jagged claws scrapping the ground. My hind legs viciously begin to buckle from the organs, which lie everywhere. Horror consuming my golden orbs, that dead wolf could easily be me. What ever I had in mind I couldn't afford to think at that point, all I had to do was survive the fight.

Instinct took over me. I pushed my body into full gear stabilizing my fear. Quickly and quietly I passed the body of the dead varg. I could feel the adrenalin pulsing through my veins. Something took over me and I found my legs actually begging to sprint. I couldn't believe the strength I had in my little body, but sure enough I was running to my destination. The journey was wobbly but it was unbelievable. In 10 minutes I had taken over my fear and met my goals. My body shaking as I stood recovering from the trauma. I don't care what anyone would say, I did it. That single feat had taken me where I never thought possible. I had officially made it to the border line of Munashii Gecko.

Golden orbs look over the packlands in awe. Everything had an eerie beauty to it up here. The view that I had chosed of Munashii was breathe taking at the least. As my small frame pads around I see why the place I wonder how it got its name. I can't help but stop and stare right at the edge of the border. My salmon tongue flops from my expanded jaws, my deep breathes creating small clouds.Quietly I flop down on the ground, my mission accomplished, well almost. Probably the smallest creature to ever try such a feet in itself. Large eagles land near me, chirping warnings at me. Near by lie a hidden nest with 3 chicks, which I have no intentions of stealing. A snarl rains free from my maw, ivory daggers visible. I give the message I don't want there chicks and they seem to get it. Quickly they hop to the nest protectively, still thinking I might try something.I let loose a chuckle at their actions, how could I be a threat to them. Their talons could easily rip through my body.

I have no idea where or how my life began. Sad to say all my memories have faded away. All memory of the past is completely gone. Every face I knew and loved are now gone. A very hard realization but one I would have to live with. After waking up alone in Blossom's thick forest I had realized then and there I remembered nothing, my mind was completely empty. It shocked me and made me uneasy all the time. Only one thing came back to me, my name. I wish it hadn't come back for apparently most the time for my mother named me for what I looked like, a coyote. What sensible person would name their child Coyote? Well I guess what was I to say, I have no idea what really happened. It pains me not being able to remember the past sometimes, but maybe one day it will all come back to me. Though I still contemplate my wanting of it back. The fact is it could be bad. Only if it is good do I want my memories back. Then and only then.

All though the beauty had made me content in the beginning, I was growing increasingly bored. It was peaceful and relaxing, but slow and boring. Company is needed to contain my ever growing boredom, the fight. I can't help but yawn, exposing fang for the world to see. Slowly I raise a small cranium. Opening jowls wide for vocals to disperse. My song is ice cold and to the point. I want this land as my own and am willing to risk my hide for it. Blood will be shed at the points of tooth and fang. It was time for me to shine!
