aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Mimic and Saydin, sibling teenagers, found themselves patrolling their home together for safety and to talk. After all wasn’t the saying, safety was always better in numbers. Well, right now it was more of him talking, after Saydin decided to give him the silent treatment. He had brought up the discussion of their new found siblings, and at the moment they were all still getting to know each other and get used to being together again, when he must have said something to make her ticked. Well…he knew what it was. After agreeing that they liked their siblings, and after discussing some of the personalities they seemed to have, he brought up Papercut and mentioned he seemed a little odd. Like how he seemed distant and all that. It wasn’t meant in a bad way, but it was obvious Saydin became think that when she refused to speak to him afterwards. The titan barely held back a curse word aimed at himself. Instead he choose to simply give a sigh. The ebony and ivory titan noticed his sister was nervous around strangers, which is why she usually sat near the edge of the meeting, and he wondered what had made her like that. Perhaps his overly protective nature? Probably not, because she had no problem telling him off.

Saydin was an ebony female, with scarlet front pillars, and jewels that are a bright blue coloring. Mimic on the other hand was a black and white male with gray lampages. The two were still getting used to the fact that their siblings had come back, something they were excited and glad about. Family…a thing the two never really had since being left behind, in the true sense of the word, until now. Saydin was the first to realize the wolfess was at the border. Without saying anything to him, she picked up her speed to a fast lope, knowing he would follow as surely as if she was the one guiding his legs. As he followed after, Mimic soon caught the scent of the loner his sister was heading to, and he found himself wondering if she would be accepted or declined into the pack. It would seem obvious she was here to join after all. The lass that came into slight view soon, thanks to the aurora borealis shining in the sky, smelled of rain and smoke. If it wasn’t the slight light given off in the sky, they wouldn’t have been able to see her. In truth, due to her coat being dark colors, it was mostly an outline they saw. Her form seemed slender, emphasizing the female side to him, and he found himself stopping beside Saydin as his gray soul holders looked to her. The scarlet and ebony femme he shared blood with was already addressing the loner that was about a leap away from them on the other side of the border, under some trees, making it somewhat harder to make her out.

Hello, I’m Saydin, this is Mimic. I’m assuming you’re here to join Aurora Borealis. If so, what’s your name?

In silence the two teenage omegas waited for a response.
