Dragon stood, face to face with his son. Although Dragon had to tilt his head up a bit, they were almost even and eye to eye. "All I’m saying, is that you’ll have to accept Vega’s son as he is! I--" He cut himself off, and Ennuis stared him in the eye.
" You what?" Dragon glared at his son.
"I had a sister who was blind. I could of left her for my parents to love, but did I do that? No! I stayed with her, and now your leaving your own son for Vega to take care of."
"You don’t understand. If I have a son, that son will be perfect." With that, the chestnut stallion turned his tail on his father and left. Dragon sighed and shook his head before walking away himself.

Ennuis had been such a good colt when he was younger. He caused trouble, yes, but that was to be expected. Dragon didn’t name Ennuis ‘trouble’ for no reason. Dragon’s hooves carried him across the one slope that had always been his favorite. Peaceful, waiting to curl the wind through your mane. He stopped, and perked his ears. Nothing was new, Vega was there with the colt in sight, and Rory was there with her own filly. Though he didn’t see Elysium or Ennuis anywhere. He breathed in scents, and found Elysium somewhere away from the herd.

Dragon knew Elysium wasn’t about to give birth, and he didn’t smell any of their foals (or any adopted) around her. Quickly gaining into a gallop, he went towards the area where her scent had come from. He eased into a walk when he saw her first. She was simply gazing up at the stars, and he slid up next to her.

"Pretty peaceful out here, don’t you think?"
