The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

if you find a four-leaf clover
you will discover happiness.
but it can never be found.
happiness lies inside
a secret cage.
no one can possess
the four-leaf clover.

My white fores pound against the terra as I heave myself towards a low indented area, which turns out to be a den that was used by a large badger earlier in the year. They’re coming and I can just feel their little vampire teeth sucking out each liter of my energy every second that passes. Wide dull sage stargazers look around. There’s no around…. Good. I can have my little monsters in peace. A stupid half-hearted smile tugs on the edges of my kissers. Speaking of monsters… the boy who had raped me… I hadn’t seen him in all the futile attempts at my excursions… of course, if I ever saw that hessian again, I was going to rip out his larynx and stuff his eyeballs down his throat so he could watch me tear him apart from the inside out. A wave of pain echoes through my spinal cord, causing me to fall to the terra quite heavily. Well wasn’t this just dandy? Not only my eyes are dilated, but there’s no need to go into detail about that. Nasty birthing skills right? I laugh. I’m not even supposed to be able to reproduce anyway… won’t those humans who bred me into existence be surprised when their little failure turns out to be exactly what they thought she wasn’t.

Another shock of pain strikes through every muscle in my body and I struggle to keep from calling out. This doesn’t last long though. Unlike what I thought I was going to be able to do… My mind automatically strains for Calix. The male was like a sign of comfort for my troubled mind. Talons scrape against the talcum tundra and a howl escapes my lips. A cry of help. It’s as blood curtling as any real one would be, so I won’t be surprised if someone comes running. But Calix’s name is written all over it. I don’t want to face this alone. What if I died in the process?! I’m not ready to leave this world… hell I don’t even want these little pups to look after? My cranial lingers looking out of the den where light from the heavens is. However, the sun is blocked out by the incoming clouds that predict a snowstorm in some other part of Blossom Forest… and it’s ruining my freaking attitude. It’s as if Fenris himself has called off the lovely warmth of the sun and only Tor is helping me… and that’s not even that much.

Snarls can be heard from the inside of this den that I’m in. They’re of no wild animal save for me and me alone. Even if someone did come, what in the world could they do to help? Absolutely nothing. I pull a dirty root out of the side of the earth and put it in the back of my mouth. As the contractions become more painful, the root, about the width of the bone in my fore, creaks in despair. My ivories are digging into it, trying to convert the pain I’m feeling to an inanimate object. You can guess how well that works out for me. That’s right- it doesn’t. The pups haven’t come yet, and it’s already been a little less than half an hour. My crown lowers to the terra and I tremble terribly. My teenage body, just reaching adulthood, is not ready for this burden yet… and I probably do have something wrong with me. I hope he comes… If there’s anyone I want to be here… it’s my brother.
