The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The cat faced gryphon nudged at her partner, who was very much still fainted on the ground. Aska kept the stone in paw, but then fire errupted around another stone behind her and she saw the eagle dip down and snatch it up before continuing cawing like a loud annoyance. It made her friend stir lightly, so she placed the stone down on the ground. Just under his own burnt paws. "Just stay here, I'll get you lunch." Normally she wouldn't do such a thing as kill another predator like a eagle, but it was annoying her. And Elias would need food to get his strength back. The lynx sized cat-faced gryphon leaped from the rock just as the eagle took off cawing 'Nobody was here!'
Aska was bigger and her wings took the wind, because of this she was able to quickly reach the eagle and got above him. She did not beat her wings, using the highwinds to propel her rather than beating the wings like the falcon would have to. Smaller wing span meant he would have to flap more to keep air born, especially with the gale around them. The golden tabby colored Cat faced gryphon threw a sharp taloned paw at the bird, figuring it didn't know she was even pursuing it. It was quite hard to hear up here and even the bird would have a hard time breaking and dodging about.
