She wasn’t some toy that he could mess with. He was either serious or not. If he didn’t make up his mind soon she would blow. At his words her hackles raised. She wasn’t going to strike but she wasn’t going to sit back and take anymore shit. Her body tensed as she faced him. A snarl formed on her light kissers. She practically saw his attack coming. In instinct, she swiveled her head to left, avoiding contact with his canines. Her body shifted along with her head as she appeared on his right. She growled a low sound that rumbled throughout her being.
“Oh honey, you’re going to have to try harder than that.”
Her tail swished from side to side in playfulness. Seriousness was dead in his eyes but her demeanor was all play. Her audits were perked forward and her eyes bright. It would be foolish to attack a brute of his size but with her slender frame she could dodge him and taunt him long enough for him either to grow bored or get so angry he would make a stupid mistake. Pity, she would hate to see him go. Sure the want was in her eyes but she wouldn’t take an abusive mate. She was not prey she was a wolf. A smile/snarl appeared.
“Did you really think I’d let you win easily? Oh no dear, if you want you’re going to have to come get me. I warn you though, I bite.”
