Frenzy definitely wasn’t amused by this other pup. She glared and wrinkled her muzzle in a snarl at him. Her mother said that she had the worst snarl that she’d ever seen on a pup—Frenzy took it as a compliment. “I don’t play with things like you!” She stated brusquely as she pawed at the ground. The little pup was trying to act tough because she knew that if she jumped on him like she did to Alana and some of her other siblings; he could probably knock her on the ground since he was bigger than her. Frenzy didn’t like to take risks where she could end up as the loser—except with her brothers. She liked to tackle and fight with them because she knew if it got too bad her mother would step in. And it was always good to practice with someone stronger than you so you would get stronger.

The red pup, on the other hand, plopped down on her behind, smiling softly at the new pup. Alana gave a short nod when he introduced himself and let out a yip with his name. “Merc! That’s nice. I like saying it.” She stated before he decided to go talking about how Frenzy would taste like dirt and mean. The young wolfess giggled softly while the male spoke and she nodded to urge him on. “If you think you’ll like dirt and mean, then go! Eat her up!”

Alana’s sister wasn’t too excited about all of this that was going on and she growled at the two, about to jump on her sister before the pup who called himself Merc gave her a big lick across the face. Frenzy just stood there for a moment with her golden eyes wide and Alana howled with laughter, falling over on her side as she laughed hysterically. That caused the black pelted pup to snap out of it and she growled again, jumping on her sister and using her sharp puppy teeth to bite and gnaw at her sibling. “Don’t laugh! That wasn’t funny!” She snarled while Alana tried to wiggle away, yelling out ‘help, help!’
