Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Far from uncomfortable, Toric enjoyed having someone to teach. Texas reminded him a bit of his own children, always eager to ask more questions. Being of an insatiably curious mind himself, it always pleased him to meet others with the same lust for knowledge.

"To answer your last question first, Wolfy founded this territory. While there are individual packs upon the mountain, every beast who chooses this as their home is considered part of the great pack. We may not all work together or even live in peace, but we all answer to Wolfy when she chooses to act in authority, which I'll had is very rare." He paused for a couple breaths.
"The mountain ranks are delegated to do most of her work for her, keeping informed of the happenings in the territory and protecting Wolf Mountain and its denizens from wars and disasters. Granted, we're not always fully successful... There's only so much thirteen can do, but we've lasted this long." His smile was more resigned than confident.
