Existence is a funny thing. People die and the world keeps going; it stops for nothing. People vanish and never return. Lives are altered and affected by each action, but that doesn’t stop life.
At one time, everyone was ignorant without a choice. They ignored the things they could not grasp and chose to live in denial. Humanity was so wrapped up in all the bad things, their own lives, and compliance they missed out on the end of the world. It came and it went and it really wasn't the end. It was a new beginning.
This is a era for new choices. Some have decided to pretend the end never came and others battle to regain what was lost. The cultural impact on both human and vampire societies was immense leaving both to struggle to regain their place in the world.
The moment you give up your principles, and your values, you are dead, your culture is dead, your civilization is dead. Civilization is a movement and not a condition, a voyage and not a harbor. So get back on the boat and set sail! You're one of the lucky ones, you survived. Now it is up to you, vampire or human, to set a new course for the future.
