The Great Backyard Bird Count took place over the weekend. Bird counts at my feeders were about usual - downies, hairies, blue jays, goldfinches. The crows seem to have moved in already, pushing the ravens out as they do each spring. It was a nice surprise to have pine siskins and purple finches show up for the first time this winter. Got to include them on my GBBC results. A brown creeper also appeared - for the third time this winter. Replies: There have been no replies.
