Dark cold eyes watched dark stained and spotted minx approach her closer from the darkness within the Jungle. The vial of light against her dark torn up chest shown a bit brighter when it felt Rencor’s stone’s presence. Her ears twitched forward in interest. Her eyes watched the minx lower her head in respect. She snorted softly. Having someone bow to her, it was unfamiliar. She didn’t feel worthy to be bowed to. You bow to a God or Goddess and the Oracle not to a mortal. She didn’t feel she had done anything worthy of respect from her, but this was a gesture that she would have to get use to. After all every time she approached her charges, they would give her a gesture of respect by physical movements. She lowered her own head in respect to the minx. She was a humble creature and she hoped that by showing her own gestures of respect, it would show her charges that she thought highly of them just as they thought highly of her. Hearing the word “majesty” made her cringe just a bit, that word…She listened intently and noticed that she paused in her speech. Her head tilted to the side just a bit, curious as to why she stopped.

“Please Sasha, Tick Tock will be fine. I am happy that you are willing to work for the, as you all call it, Sisterhood. I’m glad I can put a name to a face now.”

She tried making her voice warm, but it was hollow and cold. She didn’t want Sasha to think that she didn’t care, she did, it was just hard for her to show it. She moved her head to the waterfall pool and looked at her reflection. New patches of hide seemed to appear in bits and pieces, but the injures were still there. She knew they weren’t ever going to heal up, after all where her bones were showing they would never be covered again. A few moments of silence and a heavy sigh escaped her mouth. It was rare to see, but Sasha would take notice that the Queen was worn. She took a few steps towards the pool and the vines that had wrapped around her carcass slowly slid off her body and back to the ground.

She turned her neck around and her disfigured face was pointed toward the other’s. She noticed the other was looking over her wounds. She had heard whispers from the Vistas. Apparently, many knew she had been attacked, but some had wondered if it was true or not. Her words were soft.

“Sasha, these wounds…I don’t understand why Paudan had so much anger and rage to attack me. I have always been loyal. I’ve been a good Spirit. I know he has a horrible temper, but I can’t help but wonder why…

She winced as she turned her neck back around. Facing the pool she continued walking. As her body got deeper into the pool, the water currant was slow and it brought an ease to the pain. She was a very tall creature and when the waters finally brushed her side, a sort of relaxed look could be seen on her face. The cool currants were gentle and it just felt so good, it was as if the waters were trying to ease her pain. She tilted her head to see her reflection. The night was peaceful. The waters were calming. However, her mind was buzzing. She felt she could trust Sasha. She knew what she needed help with. She lifted her head at Sasha, her tone was still cold, however there was a hint of necessity in her voice.

“Sasha, you have been around here longer than I. In fact, from what I understand there are many within the ranks that are former members. If I am to lead this Sisterhood, I need to understand the history. Courant seems to be the only Goddess to take a liking to us, how come? Why do the ladies have such a bond to the Jungle and to the Sisterhood? Why does the Sisterhood despise males? Please Sasha, help me understand the meaning, I am afraid I cannot be a good leader to you all if I do not know the history of the Sisterhood.”
