During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

At the fae’s comment of being ignored Rhundus could almost hear a voice calling from the darkness, saying those all too hilarious words ‘you don’t say?’. But no such stray lyrics were to be heard, as Skyshadow rose and shook out her pelt before laying beneath the wide open black of the sky. Another self-pity rant, huh? Better buckle down and wait for the storm to hit. Judging from her last one, this one was sure to be hell. But suddenly the atmosphere changed and the silver brute’s hackles instantly stood, each hair pointed away from his pink flesh. Sarcastic lookers turned ice cold and deadly, even more so than his usual bored-to-death expression. His plume rose subtly behind his stocky frame, an action so slight the hessian himself didn’t remember committing it. Honestly, he had no idea why the new scent bothered him so; the perfume was heavily laced with the lands and with the new musk of Volbeat. Obviously a fellow pack member. Turning his skull sharply, optics picked up on the shadowy form of a maiden entering their little space, her posture that of an omega but her aura that of something much more. That sneaky bitch. An eyebrow raised in question; was she the one who was allowed to accept new members? Rhundus certainly hoped so. But how much of their little conversation had she overheard? Embarrassed annoyance flushed to the surface, masked by his ashen pelt. Turning his gaze down, the brute let her approach and take her place next to his frame, the subtle brush of her tassel enough to make the fur on his haunches raise once more. He wasn’t used to all this… kinship. How everybody was instantly a friend now that they were a pack. Rhundus snorted, shifting in his seat. Still, he was to be presentable so he kept his composure in check.

“Looks like you got lucky princess,” he muttered, almost pleasantly. He was glad that her patience had been so soon awarded; it would give her a better impression of the pack that she seemed so determined to join. Devil’s Angel, as she introduced herself, asked of the other fae’s title, and for a second Rhundus was about to speak the word for her. But the thought was soon quelled; he was not her servant.

The sensation of orbs burrowing into his cheek made the he-beast turn to stare at his fellow pack mate. What? he huffed at her, wondering what she could possibly want. The question in her chocolate spheres made it clear though that she desired his take on the newcomer, as if his opinion actually mattered. Rhundus flashed a grin of daggers at her for the oh-so-nice consideration. Glancing at the other femora, he let a look of indifference enter his pools before rolling their icy orbs back at Angel. The newcomer wasn’t anything spectacularly odd, no obvious mental issues or anything of the sort. She just seemed like your regular female, with her own tragic backstory and hidden secrets, like every lupe. She didn’t have a lot of bulk, but that didn’t mean she didn’t have the skill to prevail in any battle as well. Above all, she just seemed so determined to get into their pack, and that was a dangerous emotion, especially for the estrogen laced beings. Rhundus finished with a small shrug, hoping all that could be conveyed with just a few simple muscle twitches. Ultimately, it was Angel’s call. If Skyshadow was weak, then Rhundus might feel bad about condemning her to her death within these borders. If she actually fit in with their little band, then all power to her. Finally starting to settle down, the brujo leaned back on his hinds, banner lifting and wrapping around the side of his leg. He just had to let these two females duke it out, step in if necessary, get a good stamp on his little ‘get a rank for free’ card, and he’d be free to go.
