During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The day felt young, appealing to the adult’s youthful senses as in each slight gust of wind there were a myriad of scents, something of green and dirt, the usual portrayal of the forest in his spectrum. He wandered it alone, footsteps silky in the way that he’d somehow captured from his feline opposites, handsome pelt velvet in the new day, banner curled loftily to trail along his spine. Ala Noche supposed, by some kind of strange luck and outstanding charm, he’d made his way into Munashii Gecko, but as for being a pack member, something must have gone wrong. Everything was too quiet, deadly quiet. It wasn’t quite what he’d expected and yet he couldn’t leave now; he’d been prepared to embrace pack life for the distraction it would provide from his past, and though it had yet to prove itself, if Noche was good at anything, it was waiting.

In a flicker of his amber orbs, burnt by the shade of the canopies, he assessed all that was around him. The land was breathtaking in an appreciative way, more of an acquired taste than one that would be admired at first sight. With its permeating shadow, in which stank layers of leaf mold and decaying carcasses, the proof of a good meal should one have the skill to capture it, and it’s mysterious pallor, silver-washed by the moon as the male normally saw it, it had a promise to it. It had come across as joking at his submission, but this pack seriously lived up to its reputation of taking in misfits, by simply letting them get lost in their forests if nothing else.

For now the leaves were gilded in a fine layer of gold, tracing their veins with a delicacy that was uncontested. His finely shaped head lowered, looking now at nature’s floor, standing still for a moment. Waiting. There it was; what he looked for! A powerful pounce and it was all over. The blood smelled enticing, wafting from his kill on the lingering breeze between the trunks, right into the caverns of his flared nostrils. The wolf turned feral in this instant, crouching down to finish of the rabbit while he still had the rest of the day to enjoy the strength it gave him.

It was undeniable, the shiver in his blood as the second of adrenaline coursed from his veins. However much he tried to deny it, Noche still had that killer instinct, his heart shadowed as his knives ripped in to the snack.
