Gunther still kept by his owner, following her obediently into one of the many rooms of the hospital. If anyone thought of removing him from the building, he wouldn't allow it. He watched the going ons about him carefully, wanting to make sure his owner got the care she needed. Unfortunately, the vast array of human words were close to meaningless in his ears. He sat back on his haunches next to the wheelchair and looked up at the doctor with those dark cinnamon eyes. They were so alive and alert, yet calm. They took everything in with careful analyzing. Morgan had saved him from that animal prison and an unsure future. That was plenty enough to keep his owner safe in return.
