Avila's muscles were both stiff and sore. She whimpered quietly in the silent cave, moving slowly along, wincing as each step caused her even more agonizing pain. She tensed as she heard someone come up behind her.
Avila wipes her body around, hunching down low, tucking her tail between her legs, and pinning her ears flat against her head.
"W-Who's there?" she snarls, ready to pounce.
