The quiet serenity of this place is the first thing you notice as you wander into its embracing hold. Captivated, you look around you. Sunlight filters through the trees, pooling in golden warmth around the ground. Long legged foals bask in their youth, frolicking with each other in the meadows. The protection of Brighton lays over this land, and it remains a safe haven for any who seek shelter, though it cannot be used as a permanent home.

After a long journey it is always nice to end the trip at a calm and relaxing location. Déjà vu had been traveling for almost a year now in search of a place to call her home. Judging by all the horses all around her, it looked like she had found the place to do just that. Living on her own and traveling place to place wasn’t really her preference but she didn’t completely hate solitude either. She had made it clear that she could survive on her own time and time again. But that didn’t mean that she enjoyed it, because despite the fact that fact that she would always do her best to seem strong on the outside, didn’t mean that she didn’t miss companionship.

Déjà vu finally picked a nice place to stop and the fourteen hand pony looked around at the land before her. It looked safe, a safer place then she was used to. The flaxen chestnut watched a few of the other happy equines conversing with each other for a little while. She could pick out the stallions greeting the mares in hopes to take them hope. Also, the mares who had young colts and fillies at their sides, and even some older yearlings who had just begun to start new lives on her own. Déjà vu wasn’t completely sure where she where she stood between all the horses so she simply lowered her small head down to the fresh greenery and began to nibble wondering if someone would come up to meet or if she would have to go out herself.
