Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

A small paw falls onto the dry earth quickly and just as fast the paw is up again, leaving a slight paw dent on earth’s face. The slight breeze gently weaves its way in and around each stalk of brown, caressing each section of fur gently. The sun’s bright fingers slide along her body, warming her from the inside out. Her pace slows to a light trot as the cliff came into view. Its face was brightened by the sun’s magic and she had to narrow her eyes as they adjusted to the difference. Her small paws made delicate footfalls as she finally came to a stop a couple yards from the base of the bluff. Pausing in her journey, she rests her weight on her haunches. Audits stay perked towards the giant walls, overlooking all other sounds. She had no need to be alert. Even with her small size she could handle herself. Evergreen portals remain locked on the cliff’s top; her destination. “To climb this bluff would be a great feat would it not?” She wasn’t talking to anyone in particular and did not expect anyone to reply. She had this wonderful habit of talking to herself; it was a habit that her mother believed to be ‘immoral’, whatever that means. She curled her tail around herself and eyed the mountain skeptically, as if believing it would suddenly explode or grow legs and dance for her. As if the mountains’ stillness assured her, she lifted her rump from the ground, shook out her masterpiece, and continued on her journey. She started off at a slow walk but impatience came over her and she picked up her pace to a graceful trot. Raíne was a beautiful fay if you would like honesty but she wasn’t one to flaunt it. Her graceful demeanor and flirtatious actions were completely unintentional, that was another thing her mother found ‘immoral’. A snort came from her nares as her paws touched down on the pathway that led upward. A slight hesitation flashed through her eyes before she raised her head and continued once more. Her tail swished from side to side caused by the swaying of her hips. Her ears were perked forward as she carefully watched for loose boulders and rocky steps. After what seemed like an hour of climbing, dodging, and twisting of ankles, she finally came to the top of the cliff. The sight below took her breath away. A glorious rainbow soared overhead, the colors brighter than the stars at night. Below she could see all of Blossom Forest from the river to the great oak where Alpha’s conversed. In awe, she sat and curled her tail around her slender frame. A small smile slid onto her maw as she thought of another adventure available for her to do. Ooc: Sorry it’s short!
