She held youthfulness in everything she did; how her amber eyes were alight with such an expression of excitement and interest, how her dappled legs shifted her weight from one side to the other, whether it was in eagerness to be off or simply to keep her blood flowing. He admired her bravery and courage; most mares at this point would be fearful of such a stallion who owned a territory and asked if they would come along--they'd supposes he were going to force-breed them or something of the sort, away from prying eyes. Areo was definitely not that type of stallion. He preferred companionship over breeding mares. Though he did quite hope this spunky lady would stay with him...Was it company he wanted? Or just how energetic yet soothing she was. Honestly, the dappled buckskin damsel would brighten up any day for the black knight.

The air gradually grew warmer as they got closer to Paradise Beach. It was quite a change after the frosty winter wonderland the field had. Would you like forest grass or beach grass? he asked, his tones like a waiter serving a customer at a restaurant. His orbs twinkled with amusement, he was actually quite enjoying himself. He hoped the dappled mare would like his home just as much as he did.
