The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

I hadn’t been in the pack for long. It had been a recent three days and I haven’t met anyone but Quir and cade. As he went to accept the challenge of the other fay, I decided to give him a mere goodbye before wandering around my new home. Sure there was his almost identical sister that was thee as well but she seemed more interested in messing with Quir. As his sister followed to watch the fight, I moved onward. My small paws make light footfalls against the quiet earth. My perked audits flicker lazily towards every sound in the area. My banner swished contently from side to side. I didn’t even want to be in a pack not long ago. The thought of being in one caused my wild side to break. Now, as I made her way slowly through the forest, the thought of meting others caused my heart to skip a beat.

The birds’ talk cut off shortly as did the squirrels’ mindless arguing. My audits flicker over to my left as a slight movement caused me to pause in my steps. My amber hues follow next as I peer at what appears to be a brute awaiting acceptance. I feel my heart begin to pound rapidly in excitement. Sure I held no rank in the pack but I could welcome the brute until further notice from my leader. My small paws shifted in their course as I turned towards his heavy musk. He looked so nervous which was strange seeing how strong he seemed. I should turn back but I know they won’t mind. Perhaps I would be helping her seeing how busy an Alphess could be. This was not my area of expertise but it was no matter. At the age of 2 almost 3 summers, this fay had a great way of improvising.

I slow my trot as I near him and flash an easygoing smile of reassurance. I lower my head in greeting as I rest my weight on my haunches. I tilt my head as I study him momentarily. His white fur was surprisingly clean and it caused me to make a mental note to take a dip in our stream later on. Scars covered him and I wondered what battles he had won. Seline would love a new warrior with a history. His scent was strange however, from a different pack it seemed. I went on edge instantly. Wolves’ from other packs constantly caused trouble. I narrowed my eyes slightly as my ears lay flat. Judging by his demeanor he seemed to be innocent but one could never be too careful.

“I am new to this pack but I ask that you state your business. If you mean to join then I welcome you but you must still seek out the Queen for true approval. Seeing how she is very busy, I will grant you entrance. If it’s trouble you’re looking for then be wary for my mere size means nothing when I fight.”

The words flowed easily from my kissers as I eyed him. Sure I was small but that meant nothing. My slender frame was one for agility, cunning, and speed. I was wittier than most and quicker than all. Simple strength would do nothing against on such as myself. I keep my posture relaxed as I decide to give him the benefit of the doubt. We will see where this conversation leads.

Ooc: Sorry SexySel but This person has been waiting forever so I jumped in! <3
