Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

I picked this female because she's been alone this whole time. I found her alone while she was hunting and her perfume held no signs of others recently, telling me that she's a loner. I have yet to find a pack scent on her to tell me that she's already joined a pack and so my guess is that there won't be a pack hunting her down when she goes missing. No one will hunt her, which makes it perfect.

I like her choice of place to go, too. Misty Mountain, such a rugged terrain, such a fortress, such solitude. A wolf could die here, fall off a cliff, and no one would ever know. That could be plan B if plan A doesn't work out so well but I'm not planning on killing anyone, just hurting her enough to get her to do what I want, ie. go to Abendrot pack with me. I wonder vaguely how the others are coming with their kidnappings. Hopefully there will be plenty of fun when I return home.

I can tell that she knows something, though I've been good about covering my trail and keeping silent and off the path. I've made sure to stay downwind of her if there's a breeze so she doesn't catch my perfume and guess where I'm at. Even so, paranoia must be thick since she keeps looking around, as if waiting for me to jump out and yell "boo!" Well, not yet anyway.

And then she surprises me, suddenly sitting down and relaxing, as if waiting for an old friend to approach. So it's be a waiting game? I can do this. Playing it cool, I respond by stepping out of hiding, right out into plain sight. I walk slowly toward her, ears flickering, eyes filled with nothing but open curiosity. No, I won't try to smooth talk her to trick her. I'll simply be blunt and see what happens. If violence happens, so be it. I lick my lips slowly at the thought as I approach, not even pausing to give her space. Instead I continue forward until my nose comes within inches of her own, a soft growl like a purr slips past my lips as I lean in to gently snap my jaws in front of her face, a giggle slipping out my muzzle as my mismatched gaze of blue and green penetrate into her own. My tail flicks behind me.

Ready to go?
