the first female red-winged blackbird showed up today - now the flock of over 50 males will have something concrete to work for
SIGH! the grackles also showed up today - over 40 of them. had to bring in the suet cages and the big sunflower feeder will need to be switched over to the smaller ones so that these greedy birds don't eat me out of house and home
