Arsenic in rice bran?
IP: 193.200.150.82

Hello James,

Please check this out:
http://pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/es801238p

1) Is this something to worry about?
(Surely normal rice with an equivalent amount of 'bran' must contain equal amounts of arsenic? Consequently, I would say this article is nothing more than a reason to not overdo supplementing rice bran, and preferably focus on organic products. And maybe it is a good idea to combine rice bran with chlorella to bind the arsenic?)

2) This article made me aware that there apparently is a distinct difference between 'rice bran' and 'rice bran solubles'. What exactly is the difference? Which is more healthy and would you recommend?
