During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Devil's Angel had ventured deeper into her home, deciding that she would rest before the next loner came a calling. It wasn't long before she found herself by the slightly wide stream, her thirst was soon quenched as well, before she found her feminine form under one of the trees. Chocolate orbs closed momentarily as she inhaled a deep breath, taking in the familiar scents to make sure nothing was out of place. There was the scent of new members that joined at the meeting like Miya and Rhundus, and one or two of the wolves she let bypass the border, Skyshadow and Ala Noche, until Volbeat returned. The alpha had been gone for a while now, and she wondered how the challenge was going. Amidst her thoughts she realized that there was a stranger inside her home lands, a intruder inside Munashii Gekko just wouldn't do. Pup or not, well, maybe the youngster had guts or the cub was just foolish. This was bound to be interesting she thought to herself as she found her form rising from under her sanctuary. Without hesitation or a second though she found herself racing through the river, knowing the intruder was on the other side, the water instantly soaking into her smooth and soft coat where it landed. Once she made it across, Devil flowed through the forest at a slow run, perhaps the pup would have become scared enough to take start heading back and she would only have to chase the young one out. A pup needed someone to care for it, the small scrap wouldn’t be able to bring forth anything into the pack like Jersey could. Jersey was old enough to help the pack out, but she wasn’t so sure about this one. Since Volbeat was still gone, and if she wasn’t impressed by this one, then she would have to dismiss her.

Wait a minute….The new scent in the air belonged to Volbeat, and she was even more positive about it because it was laced with blood. Munashii Gekko’s alpha had returned and she wondered how serious his injuries were. It wasn’t too long after she smelled him that she realized she was headed toward him as well. That could only mean his presence was already where the intruder was. Normally she would have gone about her business, maybe even have returned to the tree to lay under the recently rose sun to dry off faster, but she also knew Volbeat just returned from a fight. Sure it was just a pup, but that pup could just as well have a guardian following after the runaway. Besides she wanted to see how badly messed up Volbeat was from taking his win. At least she assumed it was a win since he returned, because the loser never came back before, alpha or loner. Soon she would find out, because the small group of wolves were just ahead of her, and that is when she changed directions in one smooth turn. Devil was making a round-about, her ebony and ivory figure going as far as to step just outside the border as she came up behind the trespassing pup. This way, if the guardian was hiding somewhere she would find or sense her or him. If her detector was correct the care taker of the young one was still outside the border, while the pup was being dealt with by the alpha.

At this point she made her presence known, although she knew Volbeat probably smelled her already, being more experienced and older than BrightEyes. He was snarling when she arrived, so she probably hadn’t been that far behind him. The sound of his voice showed he was agitated and probably royally pissed, but the omega found herself ignoring it as she observed his form while remaining alert. Luckily for the pup, the idea that her alpha being hurt brought some concern to her eyes, so her own chocolate orbs weren’t completely angry or emotionless right now. It might have even made her look like someone to help the young one, being a female and all with worry in her soul gates, even though she could pretty much care less if Volbeat chased them out or brought them in. A little cold, yes, but she wasn’t her young and it was a survivor’s world here. Because only the strong reigned here now. If it had been a adult wolf tresspassing, she probably would have turned this into a good wolf bad wolf scene just for the fun of it. Devil’s Angel wondered if they would submit, but soon she had her attention back to the titan’s multi hued form. He seemed to have obtained only two wounds, which brought curiosity from her, did they not completely finish the battle, for shouldn’t the brawl have brought more damage? She found herself soon saying to herself all that mattered was he was still the alpha, because she was really, really, getting sick and tired of getting a new one. The first one she noticed was at the back of his neck, and it didn’t seem so bad although she could tell he would need help cleaning it. However the next wound she was able to locate was at his chest and from the way it continued down she figured it went to his stomach. More blood caked the upper part of the wound, and it made her wonder if the wound just looked bad. An eyebrow was raised but she doubted the demon would notice it.

Smelling the blood, and knowing it was wolf, brought back old memories of when she had ate her own kind before. Life had been hard when she tried wolf for the first time, and surprisingly it hadn’t repulsed her, in fact the blood and meat hadn’t been bad at all. It certainly had been different but not in a bad way. If she couldn’t find vegetation game, she would usually go find a wolf carcass or even feed from one she killed in the heat of battle. Some saw it as repulsive she just saw it as surviving.

The pup was shocked at first and soon became scared as she whimpered and found her form upon the ground. The pup probably should have never crossed the border she thought to herself. Ears pricked, she waited to see what would happen next. Maybe later she could talk with Volbeat to learn more about him or see if he needed help with his wounds, after all she had to report to him.
