Sorry, I should have passed on a heads up yesterday: a rough-legged hawk was actively hunting in the field at the northeast corner of North Mt. Rd. and KL 6. It perched in various trees at the north edge during the time I was there, about 10 a.m. A killdeer was heard occasionally in the same area.
