Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

I don't know where Mom or any of my siblings are. I've felt alone now for weeks and yet still, I've kept wandering. I think I got lost somewhere along the way and ended up in another pack territory so now my fur smells like Aurora but I only visited for a while so hopefully the pack of Bright Moon will take me back. Finally I made it back to the borders after running into a nice female wolf who offered me some of her rabbit and even a nice warm place to stay for the night. I told her again and again that I have a mom and siblings and I'm not an orphan but she still wanted to come along so I did the only thing I could think to do...I waited till she went to sleep, thinking me sleeping soundly beside her, and then I ran off.

I never went hungry though, seems a lot of older wolves can't stop the thought of a pup wandering alone with a rumbling stomach. I'm not as chubby as I was on day one of living, but at least I got some new muscle to add to my core. My paws have been chafed raw, being too tender for such traveling but still I went on, ignoring the pain until I got too numb to it. I've barely slept, having curled up under a bush somewhere most of the time and noises have a thing for being more creepy after nightfall. I've grown a little more paranoid in my time away but I was paranoid to begin with.

Having successfully found Bright Moon's borders, I went across without hesitation but no one came to welcome me. Instead as I moved toward the center of the grounds back where Mom's den should be, I started hearing voices and now I find myself stalking through the forest and coming upon a multitude of different voices, but none of them sound like Mom. Ears flicking back to my scalp, I decide to join the party anyway cause anything's gotta be better than all this wandering alone.

Walking into the clearing, I look right up at all the wolves, measuring them up. No one smells familiar, but then everything is so mixed up with everyone so close and suddenly I feel a little bit of claustraphobia coming on. Step away from the little cream smurf, please! He shall have order in the court! I scream the words as I back away toward a corner, tail neatly tucked behind me as I rush over to a large white male who's standing mostly by himself toward the center of the clearing. Of course, all of these wolves look large to me. Cowering behind his legs, I peer out at everyone, curiosity and fear mixed in my eyes. The male I'm hiding behind looks quite proud, standing all tall and mighty. The alpha, perhaps?

I sniff at his legs, pressing my nose right up to his back leg till my whiskers tickle his skin. Looking up at him, I tilt my head, ears cocking to the sides quite comically. The knight of the kingdom of far far away? Twist has heard about you, he has! Mom sends her compliments to the king. He appreciates the sanctity of your legs, he does. Has Twist made a friend? Blinking my eyes innocently, I look up at him, bright green emeralds flashing.
