Forest Frontiers
Forest Frontiers is a herdland of rolling hills and a fringe of forest on all sides. The picture it makes seems straight out of an Old Western story. The woodlands are predominantly pine, but it allows for a few deciduous trees here and there for a little change of scenery when the time is right. A small stream flows into a lake, a small hiccup in its long thin line of travel. Every morning, thanks to the higher base altitude, a small haze of mist is there to greet you -- enriching the air with a thick pine scent.

She was so confused. So unsure about the emotions that played in her veins and messed with her mind. She was always so careful, so thoughtful about every step and turn through life; so why was she feeling this way? She arched her muscled neck and pricked her black tipped blue ears toward the horizon; blue eyes closing to bring in some kind of peace. She was not used to this, not used to wanting to give herself to a stallion just to make the bitter heat vanish. She hated not feeling in control. A sort of bitter smirk pulled at her lips; oh Glamour was gonna love this wasn’t she? The dark stallion beside her to grown curious as to why she was behaving this way; reaching out to touch the curve of her still arched neck. Amazingly it was tender; he didn’t seem like the tender type. Which was just another reason why she was so fascinated with him; he did things that were unlike his personality, yet beneath it all was the something that was held back.
He questions what was wrong with her; his words tickling her skin. She didn’t answer and he didn’t move; almost fighting with something in his mind. Then came the question she had a feeling he would ask. Are you afraid of me? To this she pinned her ears and stomped a small hoof. “No. I am not afraid of you nor will I give you the pleasure of my fear.” Those words were harsh and she winced at any punishment Indi might give. “I’m afraid of what I am feeling; this is my first season with a stallion and my mind and body are not connected.” She remains still at his touch down her spine; his warm breath an amazing feeling to her skin. He was holding back, whatever little beasty was in his heart and soul, he was holding it back.
She finally reach down and plucked at the grass, working up whatever nerve she could muster. “Can you make this burning stop?” Oh Glamour was gonna love this.
I will walk this earth a thousand years after you’re gone under moonlight grace. I am the Blue Moon Wanderer
