Wildflower Plateau

Wildflower Plateau is the sister-land to Brilliant Pampas, though the two have been separated since the Catastrophe. Wildflowers are this land’s specialty, and it sports more flowers than humankind has ever discovered. Every shape and size and color grows here, even throughout the harsher seasons. This land is in itself a rainbow, the trio of lakes at its core reflecting its beauty perfectly. Here or there, trees scatter shade across the landscape, completing the natural masterpiece.

This land is closed. No herds can live here.

Eilinora
Hybrid | Mare | 7 years | Leopard spotted | Wildflower Plateau
Damien x Teslyn

Her body didn’t show any signs of her pregnancies. It was already two years ago since she gave birth to her second daughter, another one from Topaz. But this time her daughter was perfectly healthy. Toyela didn’t really replace her little Nëya, she really missed her oldest daughter, but she never regretted her choice of leaving her at her father’s side. She knew he would take great care for their deaf child. Even now she knew that Mentor wasn’t a horrible stallion which wanted to ruin her life, he just wanted his own family. For that hers was torn apart, but she got another one back. You wouldn’t hear Eilinora say that she was happy with the change, but she wasn’t mad about it anymore. Why being mad at someone who just wanted to give her something special? Today none of her daughers were at her side anymore. Nora thought that Nëya still would be with her father, safely in Forlorn Forest –she didn’t got a notice from Topaz his death – and het youngest one decided to leave her mother’s side to explore the world by herself. It made her quite sad, she loved both of them and really missed them when they weren’t around. But she couldn’t keep Toyela prisoner and she had left Nëya behind. And because of that she knew nothing of becoming a grandmother next spring. Something the leopard spotted women really would have loved. She would have been quite proud at her daughter and maybe even more when she would see the gift. To Nora every healthy child was a gift. It was special.

With a soft sigh she lifted her head and let her eyes gaze at the place that had been her home for the last years. The moment she had come back it had been Sky which came to greet her. Together with her daughter Honey. Nora had recognized the girl as one of Mentor’s children and a smile had made her lips curled up to a smile back then. At first she had hated him, but now she almost felt the same for the roan stallion as she had felt for the rose grey Topaz. And if she was really honest she would say that she had loved Topaz and it had broken her heart when he chose Moonmist above her. But because of what she felt she had decided to not tell him, knowing she would hurt him with saying that and that was the last thing she would have done. It all meant she felt something for Mentor, but not yet in the same way. This was more like the way she loved both of her children, but it was a start. When the leopard spotted girl lowered her head to continue grazing between the last season flowers. The winter was the hardest season of all, even in a wonderful place like Wildflower Plateau. The temperatures dropped and snow would fall down. Lucky for them that didn’t happen yet. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the snow, but everything was much better without it.

A loud whinnied echoed across her home, telling those who still lived there that their ruler was back home again. Nora’s spotted ears pointed forward, and her white tail slammed through the air. The hybrid moved herself forward in a quick, stretched trot in order to greet Mentor as soon as possible. She whinnied so the little group that had formed would knew she was closing by. Immediately she recognized Sky and Honey, but it took a while before she saw something recognizable in Song. It had been a while since she had seen the girl and she had still seen her as the child Song had been when Nora first came to Wildflower Plateau. When she reached the group of four –with her five– she heard the words that Song spoke. It slowed her down a bit, taking her distance before turning her attention to Mentor. Nora searched for something that would tell her how he reacted on her presence. Before he left for other things she had been away herself. Would he be surprised? Would he be mad? Or would he be just glad with the warm welcome? "Welcome home, Mentor” she told him with a warm smile.
