From the Kirkfield lift lock on CKL 6, turn east (right if you are coming from Kirkfield) onto Talbot River Road. Turn left onto Shrike Road, which runs north from TRR. The heronry is a km. or so up the road, just past a single house on the east side (I think the name is Kennedy). The road crosses a small wetland. The heronry is on the right (east) side, in the tall trees to the south. It's probably best to park south of the marsh because a steep hill just to the north prevents other drivers from seeing you if your car is right at the marsh. Replies: There have been no replies.
