Sunlight filters through the trees, pooling in golden warmth around the ground. Long legged foals bask in their youth, frolicking with each other in the meadows. Ka-Rita jerks her head to the left side of her. A darkened splashed male had pulled up on the hill beside her. He had called a greeting ahead of him. She dipped her yellow and white head down to him. She would honor him this way being that he had not crowded her. He stopped progressing upon her a reasonable distance away. For some reason her want and need to fight a protect was silenced in his presence. She did not chance it to last long. She ran her orbs over him. He stood much taller than her and held a presence about him that suggested he was important.
"Hello there." She responded to him.
"My name is Ka-Rita."
She shifted her body to turn to him. The wind picked up but only slightly. She raised her hind end to turn to him, then it dropped again in her signature "German Shepard" stance. Her long tobiano tail drug the ground and whisked listlessly in the wind. Her mane bounced on her neck, just ever so slightly. She did not know what she was going to say to him. She was not accustom to talking with others. She did notice however that he held a gem the same as hers. He was a follower of Paduan as well. She waited for him to speak.
