The ligress couldn't see the emotions in Ni's eyes, but she heard his gasp and the choked out words. Perhaps he was furious. She cowered in front of him, afraid, her posture clearly fearful of him. Archi had become so fragile in the past couple of weeks, and it was so unlike her. But finally the words came,
'It's not your fault.'
Her eyes snapped up to meet his, but she didn't shift her fearful position. Because she was indeed, still so afraid. He could still strike her at any time... But what he did next, was not even close to aggressive. Archi allowed Ni to pull her close to him, and closed her eyes, allowing the tears to flow freely. She buried her face into his hair, and cried, nodding slowly in answer to his statement. "Y-yes.. no more pain" she gasped quietly, trying to catch her breath. The feline sniffled quietly, fur wet with tears, but didn't break the embrace. A long, shuddering sigh came from her maw and she squeezed her blind eyes shut.
"Icefyre, you know, he said that Draco.. he was in a better place now. Where he didn't hurt, and could run around and talk and play." Archi said quietly her voice shaking slightly, tears streaming from her eyes. But she wasn't crying as violently now, and was feeling just the slightest bit better.

The River Fell is a slow moving river with gentle banks, perfect for a midday swim. It freezes over in the winter. It runs besides the forest for a while before winding into the lands beyond the territory.
