The current season is spring. Pregnant mares are giving birth and others are going into heat. Bears are coming out of hibernation and are very hungry--some even have cubs to feed! Cougars and coyotes are looking for easy meals due to a rough winter, so be sure to be extra protective!

It’s Easter here on Fragment, and the bunnies were very busy last night! Hidden all throughout the immediate area surrounding Fragment’s main watering hole are brightly colored eggs. More than that, the eggs are magical and if any animal touches them, they’ll be reverted to their six month old bodies! They won’t need to eat or drink in the days that they are children again, so no worries about trying to find a parent for the week.
The horses (rather, foals) know to begin searching at the same time (early morning on Easter day) and have begun to pile these eggs in safe areas that only they know of! Of course, other horses might be a little lazy and track down these safe areas to steal the eggs for their own, so be sure to be extra vigilant!
The horse that captures the most eggs by midnight on Sunday the 15th of April is crowned this year’s King or Queen of the Bunny Hop and gets a special Easter prize!
Each character has a goal of hunting down and protecting 20 Easter eggs!
You may write out a story about your character finding all twenty of their eggs; find all the eggs that are linked up in various ways around Fragment (this must be submitted with an original short Easter story); or go on a hunt through RPGs to find various threads with specific themes*! You can even do all three, if you so choose! Be creative, and have fun! You may reply and list your stories/finds in character on the Game board, or reply to the thread on the OOC board. Prizes will be handed out Monday morning April 16, 2012.
You may also color in an Easter egg (here) for more Easter fun. Feel free to link these eggs on the thread in the OOC board (or hide them in a post somewhere for your fellow writers to find) If there is more than one entry, there will be a contest!
*Basically, we want you to go and read some threads on other RPGs! Maybe you’ll be inspired enough to start writing there, or incorporate some of the writing into your own style, who knows! We’re looking for 20 specific themes, and don’t be shy to explain how you interpreted some of the threads! After all, people interpret things differently all the time!
