Equinox cared little for where she was supposed to be, or not. Dragging herself out from within the shadows once more, she appeared just as sickly. Was she ever going to have a full figure? Quin's life seemed destined to be unfulfilled. Spindly limbs brought her from the ocean's waves onto the shores of Salem Island, somewhere she hadn't wandered before. Soaked to the bone and feeling her energy draining, the black mare stalked the dry terrain. It wasn't until her coat was twitching and shivering that she realized she was cold. Golden sand muted in the moonlight clung to her legs, clumping to her fur, making it that much harder for her to walk. Femme shook her neck, tangled and knotted mane slapping against her nape.

No more, someone whispered in the depths of her mind. Shaky frame came to a halt, staring straight ahead and then down. Nose dropped low enough to touch the sand, snorting up a cloud before jerking head upright. This place was a nice change of scenery. After dwelling so long in the caverns, only to be flushed out by the disaster, she needed something... different. A different life, a different past... a different voice urging her over a cliff. On the outside she seemed calm, collected, even cool at times, but instead a war was raging, tearing her sanity apart part by part. Piece.. by... piece...
