Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Karakurenai, or Kara to her nonexistant friends, was the sort of wolfess who got hungry a lot. At the moment, she wasn't starving or anything, but a wee bit peckish, but hungry was still hungry, and when she was hungry, the only thing to do was hop over to Adoption Meadows or Romance River for a quick snack. The first thing registering on the mind of anyone who read that last sentence and actually heeded it was one of either shock, amusement, or jaded boredom. Cannibal, leech, blood-sucker, flesh eater, vampire: call it what you like, the main point being that darling Karakurenai's favourite snack happened to be wolf. She ADORED the rich meat that the bodies of beings suck as herself hosted. Dark, delicious, and so juicy. Just thinking about blood made her juices run in eager anticipation of sinking her fangs into a still-breathing innocent's neck and sucking them dry. Her tastes were not as picky as some. She wasn't obsessed with tearing out hearts and gently dicing the squishy, still hot muscle. When she was hungry and no convenient wolves where located nearby, the lady found herself munching the occasional herbivore.

Karakurenai's search for that one in a million, delicious puppy, the one who had succulent flesh, just enough muscle, the one who had not to much fat, but wasn't too skinny - basically, the little midget that wouldn't give her indigestion was still on. Although the young adult absolutely detested pups most of the time, she was forever on a quest to kill and eat the special puppy whose blood would be carry a certain, intoxicating tint that would fill her mouth with it's savory delights. At the moment, though, she was through wit eating puppies and wanted to munch on other, less rich fare. She wasn't sure if her target today would be one of her most often selected menu choices – the idiotic, young teenagers that lurked just about everywhere in the realm of Blossom Forest, or something else. As the maiden trotted delicately through the flowery side of Blossom Field, she was fully in predator mode.

She passed a few wolves, all of whom looked up at her with the disgusting friendliness that was customary for the denizens of Blossom Forest. As usual, they caught her blood scent almost immediately after they smiled, something that caused their expressions to change from smile to apprehension in an amusing twist of expression. She smirked at a family of three as she passed, letting lose a bell-like giggle when the pups ran away and the mother stood firm. The action reminded her of the run in she had with Carob, Mori, Eastara and a wolf named Frost Lake not to long ago. The pups had instinctively been afraid of her, and the females – instantly angered by her presence.... or maybe it was just because she was talking calmly about her desire to eat them... one could never quite tell with snacks.

The ess crested a bern of brightly hued petals and was met the the sight of a ragged, thin looking female whose stomach ballooned. It was obviously filled with indigestion-causing puppies. While it was quickly concluded that the preggo gal didn't have enough meat on her to be satisfactory, Kara wasn't actually that hungry, and she could use an interesting conversation. She didn't mind getting a little chatty sometimes – after all, she wasn't an antisocial lass, and who was she to talk to, anyway.... The other psycho vampires were not exactly amazing conversationalists and articulators.

Karakurenai strolled up, not stopping until she was about three feet away from the side of of the pool that the other female was enshrined within. She opened her maw and let her lyrics come out, as frank and honest as they'd ever been. The sadist usually only talked to wolves who were about to become her prey, so this was a new experience. She decided to try something general first...

“Hello... You hungry, miss? “
