Welcome to the Free For All board. Remember the rules when you post. If you post on this board complaining about a specific player or site, you must use the name affiliated with the player or site you are complaining about--no excuses! For example, if you play as 'Moon' on a game and post about that game here, you must post as 'Moon.' As a token of good faith for our users, IP addresses are hidden.
Violators will have their IP addresses shown and their posts deleted without warning.

Why is it your responsibility to 'correct' an anonymous person for being what you consider snobby? You're drawing your conclusions from a single post she made on BD, which is notorious for being a highly charged emotional place where people usually only post after they've reached their breaking points. Personally, I think you and the other people who replied to 'Confused' came off just as snobbish...
You're totally entitled to your opinion, but I think it was an incredibly bitchy move for you to post the thread here. It's not your right to continue a discussion about someone else's posting preferences. If you really wanted to have a discussion (instead of being assured that you're right and she's wrong) about quality vs quantity, the decent thing to do would have been to start your own thread perhaps alluding to but not directly linking to the BD post about it. Now anyone who replies to this will be replying to what she said and offering their opinions on why her opinion is wrong, instead of offering a forum for a worthwhile discussion to take place about everyone elses' stance on the issue.
It's just stupid. Why should she care what a bunch of strangers think? If she thinks 2000 words automatically makes a post great (she doesn't: "And, I admit that there are times when I come across a long post and I just think ‘fuck this’ and don’t reply. But I can guarantee that I’ll reply to the longer post faster than I’ll reply to the short post." To me, this statement indicates a preference), why does it matter in the slightest to you?
