Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

She is the flame among the ashes. You could count that statement in more ways than one. You could count it as the fact her fire-red pelt is easily described as a flame among the scarred, burned remains of trees, bushes, and grass. Or you could also say it as she is the fire among the ash. Many mutts nowadays are simpletons; wolves that never make a difference in life. They live til they're mature, mate, produce pups, and then die. Nothing very exciting happens much with the wolf-life. The fire princess was about to change all that. In fact, she was about to change a lot of things.

And so, she is a flame among ashes. Mocha fire-orbs dance as she watches the goings-on at the beautiful side of the field. Of course everyone would take the bright, cheerful side of things. Nobody would even think about coming over to the charred side. It was like life. You take the easy way in, and the easy way out. Live, mate, birth, die. Or, you could take the charred path. Live, make a difference, heal wounds, and die an honorable death. Many say, "A honorable death just means you die in battle with nothing left of your body." Not at all. It could mean you die sitting among old friends, sharing sweet memories. Or maybe with your lover in quiet content. Perhaps it is even protecting your family or comrades, baring your teeth with a fierce viciousness in your dying gaze. It could be many things. And yes, it could also mean dying in combat, but not necessarily with your body too mangled and bloodied to have a burial or something for it.

And so, it seems after such a discussion, she stands alone when it comes to the victorious, remembered path. Sure, maybe it was harder, but there were always rough patches in all roads. You just bump through them and keep on going.
