My mistake then. The way you worded your posts came off as being angry. And yes, that's what this is for. I never said I wanted you to leave. And believe me, I'm not deleting any of this simply because you disagree with me. You have a right to voice your opinion.
Please don't tell me you were trying to say I plagiarized her post by referring to it and linking to it. That's not the same at all. What you're referring to is plagiarism and theft. I'm not attempting to take credit for someone's work. And that's not what you were originally pissed off about. Linking to someone's post for discussion on that post is actually the correct way to do it. If I copy/pasted her post and then posted it here, that would be wrong.
And no, it has never been a requirement on any website to LINK TO an image. We're not talking about hotlinking or reuploading to another image host, we're talking about linking to the site/image in question. It's never (on any website on any part of the internet) been a requirement to let someone know that you're linking to their website.
Don't shift your goal posts. That's not what this has been about and you know it.
My name is just how I deal with names. I've had different names for different uses for years. How everyone else deals with their names is their business. Anon is a shortened version of Anonymouse for me, which is a name I used several times on another game. It's a very common name, I realize, and perhaps I'll use another name since so many people don't know the backstory (which is understandable that not everyone knows my life history). Hypocrisy is one thing that I don't appreciate, and I'd hate to seem like a hypocrite for using a name that everyone else deems inappropriate. Although I don't give two fucks really, like you said: I run this place, so I do have a certain standard to set.
As far as me not making an effort to shift the discussion, what does that even mean? Should I just start striking up a conversation on a completely different subject in the middle of our argument? That ship sailed 3 or 4 posts ago.
And if you're accusing me of attempting to convince you that I'm right, what exactly is it you're attempting to convince me of? Once again, pot calling the kettle black. We both think we're right. The only difference is that I have no issues admitting when I think I'm wrong. You, on the other hand, build straw men and attempt to cover your ridiculous assertions like "You can't link to a post unless you wrote it" by calling it plagiarism and hoping I'll fall for it.
Let's not dig our hole any deeper and just call it a disagreement. If you leave DH, so be it. I thought you were pretty cool, but your inability to accept someone's apology on a petty matter and then turn around and continue to turn it into a shit storm because of pride is a bit too much for me. I have places to be. If you reply, I'll probably reply again in the morning.
