I am so sorry about your mother. I lost my father when I was 13. You are not alone.
I would definitely seek out a good Ob/Gyn doctor to examine you to determine the reason for the bumps. It may be that you are washing that area with a soap that contains a perfume you are allergic to. That could explain the bumps as well as the common yeast infections. A perfume in your baths may also be causing it. Think about your routine bathings and cleaning of that area. I have always been advised that the vagina is SlSelf-cleaning, and only to rinse with warm water (no soap).
