The rest of the meeting was a blur, everyone had listened intently to Tamlin's words, and a chain of whispers broke out as the ivory regal spoke of sparring matches. Only I had smirked mischeviously, loving the idea of being able to spar against my fellow pack mates. Out of fun at that, no strings attatched. But it wasn't just the ranked wolves, nor the omegas or subordinates that I wished to have a chance against-it was my own alpha. Sure, it wasn't to prove much, but it was more of a fun time. I could care less if I won or lost in this case; it would not effect my dignity, for he is the leader of the lands. Robust and ingenious, he could take me down in a heartbeat-or perhaps not, it depended on the odds. Either way, I was definetly prepared for a tough experience that I could learn from in the entertaining process.
Emerald oculurs watched as each pack member exchanged glances after Seoras and Venga veer off to catch a little furball of a rabbit for the younger pup to eat greedily. Quite charming in a way, his actions when he had arrived and his manners towards Venga. Venga. That's another one who I'd like to spar with, just to see her skills in combat, but I guess I would have to wait for her, also. Everyone was antsy, fidgeting in anticipation already as Tamlin called off the meeting, letting the entertaining scheme fall into action. I wonder who had the guts to even get up and fight in the first place. Just as I opened my jowls to call for Tamlin, going to make an attempt to ask him to spar with his gamma, but it was too late, for he motioned Tsunami, the lovely girl whom I had greeted so nicely at the borders, to come and speak to him. Once again, I would have to wait for my sparring partner.
All in all; my adrenaline was already pumping through my veins, causing my whole body to nearly quiver with the anticipation. My muscles ached to be put into action and my mind was already running through my tactics, and as I glanced around the clearing, I saw some of the cowardly wolves leave in desperation to rid themselves from the lands in this period of time. I laugh at the comically in my mind before rising to all four of my appendages, stretching my lithe frame and scanning the crowd. "Anyone who wishes to spar with me, I'm open as of right now." I chuckle lightly, wondering just who had enough courage to step forward.
(Sorry it's a little short... They will get longer, I just didn't know what to type xD)
