Wylie Road Posted on April 17, 2012 at 10:56:15 PM by Ginny Moore
The Carden Field Naturalists took a trip up Wylie Road Monday evening, led by Janet Grand.
We walked from the parking area for the blind up to the bridge of Sedge Wren Marsh.
At the very least we saw a male bluebird, a pair of harriers, a pair of shrike, meadowlarks and numerous very cold frogs trying to warm up on the road. We heard spring peepers, snipe, woodcocks, swamp sparrows and right at the end of the night, chorus frogs. Replies:
