Re(1): Gingivitis/Periodontal disease

Hi Phil,

Yes, brushing with pau d' arco powder can help a lot. Pau d' arco contains 18 antiseptics and 5 anti-inflammatory compounds. Adding a pinch to y9our toothpaste is the easiest way to use it.

Speaking of toothpaste I recommend going with a more natural toothpaste such as Auromere. I have personally found that most toothpastes seem to speed up the plaque faster.

Another trick is to suck on a zinc tablet. Zinc is also antiseptic and helps promote healing. Make sure you have plenty of food in your stomach when using zinc to prevent nausea. And don't exceed an intake of 50mg daily of zinc. As you let the zinc dissolve on your mouth be sure to swish the saliva around in the mouth so it coats all the gums.

Chewing on xylitol gum throughout the day will also help keep bad bacteria down in the mouth.
