Hi Michele,

The best choice is red raspberry leaf. This is commonly used in alternative medicine throughout pregnancy to relax the uterus. This helps prevent miscarriage and eases birthing.

Nettle leaf is great for nutrition throughout pregnancy and during breast feeding.

Ginger tea can be sipped on in small amounts to control nausea during pregnancy.

Avoid most spices and herbs such as goldenseal during pregnancy as these are uterine stimulants. I have also heard that large amounts of carrots can stimulate uterine contractions so I would limit these as well.
