Re(1): As The Wind Blows

Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Oh how Ulric agreed. He too was exhausted. But he couldnt rest here. There were too many other wolves nearby. Ulric stood up and looked around. there was a secluded area under some bushes on the out skirts of Blossom Field. Ulric knew he needed to leave thorntail behind, but something in him refused. What is wrong with him? He has only known the pup for a few minutes and he doesnt want to leave him.

"We need to leave this place. You can either walk or i'll carry you." he looked at Thorntail and didnt even wait for him to answer. Ulric saw that he was in no condition to walk any longer and chose for him.

All Ulric said was "Be still." Ulric dipped his head and gently grabbed Thorntail around the neck with his mouth. Ulric took care not to bite too hard. If Thorntail struggled Ulric didnt notice.

Ulric carried Thorntail to the bushes and set him down with as much care as possible. Ulric crawled under the bushes and laid down. He looked at Thorntail.

"We need rest." Ulric waited for Thorntail to join him. He knew that if Thorntail rejected his offer he would be disappointed. He has grown to like the pup.
