Sahara nibbled at the small bit of green she found a few yards from the oasis, feeling happier than she'd felt since coming here with little Kade but her roan child was not so little anymore. He was now old enough to claim his own land, his own girls, have his own children. Speaking of children, Sahara nuzzled her slightly swelled barrel affectionately. Her ears flicked forward as she heard hoof beats, raising her head to see Kade running up. Oh how he looked so much like her beloved stallion. She smiled and whinnied a greeting, rearing slightly.

"Hello little one," She said, lightly nipping at her son's mane. But Kade was in no mood for play, he was quite upset and stricken. He nuzzled his mother and pulled back, sorrow in his eyes. Sahara frowned and cocked her head. "What is it?" She asked. "I-It's father..." The young stallion said. Sahara felt her heart constrict and bumped her muzzle to her son's shoulder. "Take me to him, quickly," She urged. Kade hesitated but nodded and the two of them raced to where the older roan was. Sahara froze, seeing the group of horses gathered and sensing the air of grief.

Surely Razvan wasn't... "RAZVAN!" She screamed, shooting forward. She looked over the stallion's still form but simply couldn't believe what she saw. "Razvan, please, wake up," The young mare begged, reaching her muzzle down to nuzzle her love. Kade watched his mother for a moment before walking forward and gently leading her away as she began crying.
