She giggled when this pup slid her across the ground. When she stopped moving, she was behind the male pup.
Now she couldn't help him!
Oh well. It wasn't all bad. Hey, at least she knew his name.
Ace.
Not as 'innocent' as Buttons, but maybe this pup wasn't like her. She was named for her innocent look, but her insane personality. What was Ace named for?
She bounced around to him, bowing down in front of him, tail wagging.
"Ace, what does your name mean? Does it have a significant meaning, or what?" Her voice was high pitched, but friendly. To her, Ace was her new best friend, and she aimed to learn everything about him.
Everything.
She smiled, blinking a couple times before she heard Ace's voice. He was talking to the older male. Turning to him, she tilted her head. She sensed conflict between the two and smiled.
"I KNOW! Why don't we play... A game?" She grinned psychotically, her eyes widening and her head nodding.
"How about hide and seek? I'm a great hider! But if you want to hide, I'm also a great seeker!"
Her golden-yellow eyes flickered from male to pup. The smile never once left her muzzle.
She wasn't stupid, but games usually solved conflict even between sworn enemies. She grinned wider and looked at Ace.
He was cute, but she'd never let him know. No, Buttons had no time for relationships. She was on a quest to find her brother. No matter how long it took her. She sat down on her haunches and looked directly between the two, focusing on the wall. Her tail continued to wag, her smile everlasting on her face. She figured she'd never trust the older male, but hey, if they are willing to play with her, then they could all get along.
