Anticipation Guide Assignment 3 Of Mice and Men
People that are poor should rely on their friends, family, or church for help, and not the government. I agree with this statement because it is not their responsibility to make sure you have money. Although it is very generous of the Government to be doing this, to me it is unfair to the people that do work hard every single day for 8 hours or more. America already gives so many opportunities to be successful in this country. When it comes to the church I believe that would also be taking advantage of. The church should be somewhere you go to worship your god not some place thatís going to spare you some extra change. As it is a lot of churches struggle financially to stay alive and if they were to loan out money many people would change religion for the money and that would be a wrong reason to change in my opinion.
You should rely on your family, because they are responsible for you. They brought you into this world and set you up for failure, because youíre poor. Your family should always be there for you no matter the circumstances. At least thatís what I was taught, if there were someone struggling in my family I would go to the extremes to try and help that person simply because they are family, the same blood, same name. Itís sad to think that people donít have anyone to care for them. Poor people are just a burden on the Government and should not be responsible for them.
