2012 Tower Days Co-Ed Kittenball Tournament

The 2012 Spring Lake Park Tower days will be held June 8th, 9th & 10th and with a new twist, Co-Ed Kittenball. Yep, Kittenball at it's finest. A lot of people have been asking for a ladys tourney but last year it did not come through. So, let's give Kittenball a whirl. As in the past 5 years I have 2 main sponsers. The first person I would like to give a big shout out to is Andrew over at Biff's Sports Bar. He is giving all rostered players a FREE VIP weekend pass ( $20.00 value ) to their street dance along with one FREE pitcher of beer and one FREE apitizor plate to each team. The are having 2 super bands with Uncle Chunk playing on Friday, then national recording artist L.A. Guns on Saturday. These boys were half of the original Guns n' Roses band that evolved back in 1983. And I also have my boy and long time friend Scott down at Dave's Sport Shop in Fridley doing his part again. He will be supplying a brand new, still sealed 2012/13 Easton bat ( APV $200.00 ) for the Homerun Contest on Saturday night for the guys. Last year all participants received either a tee-shirt, sweat shirt or sweat pants. And we filled a nice 32 person bracket. It was a total rush watching the participants and the 150 or so people on the sidelines cheering them all on. Seeing this is Kittenball, I have no restrictions on who plays. Entry fee will be $135. Let's hope for some great weather and have some fun. People this is the greatest " Get What You Pay For " tourney. You will not find another that gives so much for $135 and have as much fun.
