Those of you travelling by train to Everton on Sunday might be wondering how the road closures for the Leeds Half Marathon will affect your journey to the station. The good news is they probably won't! Cookridge Street and the Headrow are shut off from 05.00, but all other roads are open until at least 9 o'clock. If you're catching the 08.58 out of Leeds you therefore shouldn't really need to allow any extra time for getting to the station. Even if you're on the 10.10 you should still be ok unless your normal route in is down Meanwood Road.
