Elysium listened to their son as he spoke to them. “I will not leave the islands until the day I die.” She says to them, but mostly to Samson. Then when Samson spoke to Dragon, she looked to Dragon. His attitude seemed to have change, he was angrier and upset with her it seemed than usual. She wasn’t sure what to say next, but she was done making him upset. She backed up a bit though when Dragon saw her and began to speak to her. “I’m done with running away from my problems, my….no our children may not need me anymore, but leaving was a big mistake on my part, I do not know why I did it, but I’m here for good.” She sighs. She looked to their son for a moment before looking back to him. “What happened to my sweet Dragon? The one who took me and Rory in when Herculean disappeared?” She asks him. “All I did was leave only one time, right before the sea took our second home.” Elysium wasn’t sure if she should turn and just leave, but she listened to him as he addressed their son. “And Stop calling my children mine, only Rory is mine, and Misty, Pearl and Samson are ours.” She snapped at him. “And My name isn’t mare it is Elysium.” She says to him, her ears were still pinned, ready for a fight if he so wished it.
“I came back to be with you, I realized what I did was a mistake, but our children love it here, Rory is off with Ennius, Misty and Pearl got their own lives, and look, Samson is still here, why can’t you accept what I did and just move on? I need you, you helped me calm down that time when I saw Herculean was back, you helped me overcome my trust with stallions, because of what both Hitchcock and Herculean did to me, and I’m sorry that I paid that with leaving you before that island went under the water.”
She looked to Samson for a moment. "I'm sorry this day had to be like this Samson." She says to their son. "I messed up, I apologized, but I guess the only thing to do now is die a lone somewhere where no one cares about me." Her head hung low and she turned around from the pair. Replies:
