The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

One would think that such a large cavern would have resounding echoes of each and every thing that happened within its walls and that such sounds would awake the lightly snoozing male figure that was sprawled behind the crashing waterfall. However, if you were to assume such a thing, you'd be wrong. The sound of feet padding in, a body hitting the water, nails scraping the little paradise's lake floor, everything that might disturb another being, was deflty hidden amongst the rythmic, soothing sound of the water hitting the surface below it. It would take a noise louder than that to wake the slumbering vampire and rouse him to a fully alert position. Regretably, such a thing happened his way in a blind, stumbling blunder. The form came out of the lake, having survived swimming beneath the thunderous weight of the water pouring into the cavern, and failed to manuever around his dead weight as he lie in her path. Any normal wolf would have struck out upon being so rudely tripped over whilst sleeping. The average wolf would probably say something rude or incoherrent since they were still coated in that dreamy, mist like state that sleep leaves when you are abruptly woken up by something surprising. Even the abnormal wolf would have at least said something impolite. Name on the other hand, simply didn't fit in to any of those categories. His response was beyond abnormal, it was down right wrong. The moment that the female connected with him and her weight flew over him, Name sat bolt up, ears shot forward in alertness and his eyes focusing on the turning female with a sharpness that most wolves dreamed of having after coming directly out of sleep. He made no move towards her, but continued to study her for a moment more before clearing his voice and speaking louder than the fall.

"Are you alright Miss? I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble."

The clear sanity and sincerity in his voice was probably a foreign thing with which to respond to this situation. Name had yet to notice the female's blindness, and yet, he apologized for something that was absolutely no fault of his. He'd simply been lying there. But something of her posture told Name that she was facing some kind of dilemma. What it was, he didn't know. perhaps a bit of kindness was what the lass needed. He'd observed that this world seemed very lacking in that department and that those who did show it tended to be taken advantage of. It was quite a sad statistic, but Name stuck by his polite attitude anyhow. In most cases, he preferred to be outside the realm of the world, merely watching from a distance and staying objective by remaining solitary and alone. However, on those few rare occassions, he could not avoid the rest of his kind and had chance encounters with them. For instance, he had met a rather wonderful female named Moth. They hadn't spent much time together, but the little bit of talking they had managed had been pleasant and informative. Maybe this ess would be helpful in his research too. There was only one way to find out.

He silently sat there, his head tilted to one side to await her answer. In that time, he succeeded in looking over her figure. She was not starving but she looked vaguely battered, not to mention the fact that ehr coat was sticking to her skin since she had just come out of the little lake. He finally took note that she was blind and stored that information for later. It was an intriguing thingto him, those wolves who survived with such disablities. His seafoam green gaze also noted the more obvious factors of coat color and the slightly aggressive looking stance she held. It seemed apparent that she was not accustomed to tripping over things or if she was, most of them attacked back. That thought was more provoking than her blindness and made him curious as to what kind of life she lived. But of course, only due time would give him the chance to seek these answers from her. And only if she didn't decide he was worth biting.
